Job summary

School Space exists to create thriving schools at the centre of thriving communities. This part-time Community Connector role at Kings School Hove involves opening and closing schools in the evenings and weekends, ensuring bookings run smoothly and customers receive great service.

You will work on-site, handling setup, checks, and occasional cleaning, with DBS clearance required and full training provided by the team.

• Comfort working on-site alone or with others, with support from line manager and on-call team

Responsibilities

• Open and close assigned local school in the evenings and weekends as a key holder
• Provide excellent customer service and keep the operations team informed
• Conduct checks as needed and perform cleaning/tidying after bookings
• Set up and clear away tables and chairs (e.g., exam periods) with training provided
• Support flexible scheduling and adapt to event needs
