Job summary

Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill is seeking an energetic Leisure Assistant to join the Leisure Team, delivering excellent customer service to community users during evenings and weekends. The role includes DBS checks, safeguarding responsibilities and teamwork within the Community Lettings framework.

The post involves Tuesday evenings, Sunday afternoons and alternate Wednesday evenings, with occasional other days as needed. The hours total 11 per week, reflecting a part-time arrangement at the Academy.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Ability to speak fluent English.
• Commitment to safeguarding of young people.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all community users with the highest level of customer care.
• Administer bookings and financial processes for community usage.
• Set out and tidy equipment/furniture for bookings; ensure return after sessions.
• Act in line with Health and Safety policies; serve as Fire Marshall when required.
• Provide First Aid as appropriate.
• Manage customer queries or complaints and escalate as needed.
