Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM), University of Oxford, is hiring for a part-time Reader Services assistant at Weston Library. You will greet readers, handle registrations, respond to enquiries, issue and return materials, assist with catalogues and IT facilities, and help maintain a safe reading room environment.

Responsibilities include moving and shelving library materials, including rare items, and supporting readers in a busy setting.

Formación

• GCSE level or equivalent and excellent customer care.
• Clear and courteous communication, good IT literacy.
• Reliable, accurate and able to work in a team in a busy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and register readers and respond to enquiries.
• Issue and return material and assist with catalogues and IT facilities.
• Move, shelve and handle library material including rare items.
• Help maintain safe, welcoming reading rooms.
