Wiltshire Council is seeking a Saturday/Evening Assistant to join our library team and provide a high-quality service to customers. You will help with queries, guide readers to books and information, and assist with IT support. You will also contribute to maintaining attractive displays and shelving, promoting stock and resources.

No prior library experience is required as full training is provided; a friendly, outgoing approach and readiness to work Saturdays are key.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, grade A-C or equivalent.
• No prior library experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with queries and help them find books and information.
• Support customers with IT tasks as needed.
• Help keep the library tidy with shelving, displays and promotion of stock and resources.
