Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for Worcestershire Royal Hospital with immediate start and evening/weekend shifts. The role focuses on supporting GP-led pathways, performing phlebotomy, ECGs, and monitoring deteriorating patients within a busy clinical environment.

You will work alongside GPs and HCAs, maintain accurate records, and follow infection control procedures. EMIS experience is highly desirable and training certificates alone are not sufficient without practical

Qualifications

• Recent GP/primary care or clinical environment experience.
• Competency in phlebotomy/venepuncture.
• Competency in ECG recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and venepuncture.
• Record ECGs accurately and safely.
• Take and document clinical observations and vitals.
• Assist with wound care and infection prevention.
