Job summary

Great Bear (part of the Culina Group) is hiring a Warehouse Allocator for our Rugby site on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves aligning orders with the shift plan, coordinating with First Line Managers to sustain flow and efficiency, and ensuring timely dispatch. Salary is £29,718 p.a.

with Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm shifts. You will pre-allocate loads, manage equipment allocation, and monitor progress, reporting any issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• IT literate with MS Office and WMS knowledge.
• Efficient organisation and ability to use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Control equipment allocation within designated areas.
• Pre-allocate loads and maintain advanced pick positions.
• Monitor and update shift plans to provide progress updates.
• Move staff between work areas to maintain workflow.
• Run orders per instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Select loading/unloading bays based on current needs.
• Update the electronic schedule and auto-store systems.
• Carry out stock shortage investigations and monitor replenishments.
• Compile and send reports as required.
