Job summary

Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) invites applications for a Warehouse Allocator at our Milton Keynes site, where you will monitor stock movements and manage order pre-allocation to meet dispatch times.

You will collaborate with First Line Managers to balance resources, run orders per the shift plan, and ensure smooth flow of work across the warehouse. Salary £26,000 p.a., hours Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm rotating.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse/3PL environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
• It is essential to be IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and various WMS databases.
• Effective organisation skills with the ability to work from your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring stock movements within the warehouse.
• Pre-allocating loads and maintaining advanced pick positions per shift plan.
• Updating shift plans and delivering regular progress updates.
• Moving staff between areas to maintain flow of activities.
• Running orders in line with instructions and scheduled dispatch times.
• Selecting loading/unloading bays based on current requirements.
• Updating electronic schedules and auto-store systems to reflect site activity.
• Carrying out stock shortage investigations and monitoring replenishments.
• Compiling and sending reports as required.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Allocator to join our teamat our Milton Keynes site, where you will beresponsible for monitoring all stock movements within the warehouse.

As a Warehouse Allocator, you will also set up and run orders in line with the shift plan to meet scheduled dispatch times. You should work closely with the warehouse First Line Managers to effectively manage resource and ensure that the flow of work is continuous to maximise efficiency.

Salary:£26,000 per annum.

Working hours:Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating.

Responsibilities of aWarehouse Allocator include:

• Controllingequipment allocation within specified areas.
• Pre-allocating loads and ensuringadvanced pick position is maintained in line with shift plan.
• Monitoring and updatingshift plans in order to deliver regular progress updates.
• Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Running orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Selecting appropriate loadingand unloading bays based on current operational requirements.
• Updating the electronic schedule and auto-store systems to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
• Carrying out stock shortage investigations on picks and monitoring replenishments.
• Compilingand sending reports as required.

Qualifications
