Job summary

Dawat-e-Islami is hiring a Quran teacher to deliver Tajweed and Islamic Studies to children aged 6–13, using our textbooks and materials. The role requires planning engaging lessons and maintaining progress records, with regular feedback to parents.

It is a part-time position with evening hours Monday to Friday, and candidates must be willing to undergo safeguarding checks. GCSE or equivalent is preferred, and candidates should have completed Alim/Alima, Hifz, and Qiraat courses or be

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Tajweed and Islamic Studies.
• Completion of Alim/Alima or similar Islamic courses.
• Completion of Hifz course and Qiraat course is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake safeguarding checks (DBS).
• Experience teaching children aged 6–13 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver innovative lessons in Tajweed and Islamic Studies.
• Ensure high-quality education in line with expectations.
• Teach children aged 6–13 using provided textbooks and materials.
• Complete progress sheets and provide feedback summaries for parents.
• Follow the prescribed teaching timetable.
