Job summary

School Space is seeking a Community Connector for Hathaway Academy in Grays, Essex. This part-time role involves opening and closing the school during evenings and weekends, ensuring excellent customer service, and assisting with setup and teardown between bookings.

You will be a local key holder, work independently or with others, and support community groups. DBS check is required; training is provided; salary is £12.75 per hour with pension and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing assigned local school in evenings/weekends as a key holder.
• Provide great customer service and relay information to operations.
• Carry out checks and some cleaning after bookings.
• Set up and clear tables/chairs for events, with training provided.
