Job summary

Skipton Girls’ High School is seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring high standards and timely completion, in collaboration with the Facilities Team.

Hours are 20 per week, term time plus 2 weeks, 3:30pm–7:30pm, Monday to Friday. This role offers DBS support and opportunities for professional development within Northern Star Academies Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning staff in a school or similar setting.
• Ability to manage routines and ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Familiarity with COSHH and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations and maintain high standards.
• Supervise and support cleaning staff and allocate duties.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and record inspections.
• Promote safe working practices and report any issues to Estates Manager.
