Job summary

Beachborough School requires an Evening Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role is term-time with additional days, working 15 hours weekly from 5:30 to 8:30pm. The duties cover toilets, kitchens, public areas, and routine safety compliance.

You will assist with deep cleans during holidays and may help in other areas during peak times, ensuring health and safety and safeguarding compliance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Clean daily toilets and staff kitchens to required standard.
• Check and replenish toilet roll, soap and paper towels.
• Clean public areas to required standard; sweep/mop/vacuum floors daily.
• Remove rubbish daily with recycling in mind.
• Wipe furniture, doors, walls, windowsills and skirting as needed.
• Clean inside windows and frames as required.
• Report maintenance needs to Housekeeper daily.
• During holidays perform a full deep clean of all areas.
• Assist in other areas during busy periods or staff sickness.
• Follow health and safety, COSHH, and safeguarding guidelines.
