Job summary

The Belfry is seeking a Ryder Grill PM Manager to lead the evening operation, ensuring exceptional standards of food and beverage service and memorable guest experiences. You will head the dinner service, coach the team, and collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver seamless hospitality.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in quality hospitality management, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach during busy service periods, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a restaurant or food and beverage management role within a quality hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
• Be highly organised and able to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be commercially aware, with an understanding of labour control, sales and profitability.
• Be confident managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally.
• Have a hands-on approach and lead from the front during service.
• Be flexible to work evenings, weekends and peak business periods.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to The Belfry Beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Leading and inspiring the evening restaurant team to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Managing the smooth day-to-day operation of the Ryder Grill during dinner service.
• Ensuring all food and beverage standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Coaching, developing and supporting team members to maximise performance and engagement.
• Managing team rotas, labour costs and staffing levels in line with business needs.
• Handling guest feedback professionally and ensuring service recovery where required.
• Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Driving sales through menu knowledge, upselling and promotion of resort offerings.
• Monitoring hygiene, health and safety and compliance standards across the outlet.
• Supporting the wider Food & Beverage management team and contributing to departmental objectives.
• Leading by example, creating a positive culture and maintaining high levels of team morale.
