Job summary

Second Step is seeking a Safe Haven: Recovery Navigator in Weston-super-Mare. The role is 12.5 hours per week, with evening shifts over a 7-day rota from 17:15 to midnight, including a 30-minute break. It is a permanent contract with a pro-rata salary of £27,099, based at the Healthy Living Centre, 68 Londsdale Ave.

The post involves supporting people in emotional distress. You will work with peers to provide short-term, holistic support, including self-management planning and risk assessment,

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people with mental health and complex needs.
• Ability to carry out needs and risk assessments.
• Holistic recovery- and psychologically informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Support clients via telephone, virtual, and in person.
• Conduct needs and risk assessments for clients.
• Manage risk and escalate referrals to specialists.
• Complete client records within specified timeframes.
