Job summary

Städar - Cleaning is seeking an Evening Office Cleaner in the Fosse Park area of Leicester. This part-time role runs Monday to Friday from 6pm to 8pm, focusing on keeping an office space clean and welcoming.

You’ll clean desks, floors, windows, and communal areas, manage waste, restock supplies, and use vacuum cleaners and mops. Training is provided, with an emphasis on health and safety and independent work ability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Prior experience with commercial cleaning equipment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, windows, and communal spaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently, maintaining tidy surroundings.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times.
• Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners and mops.
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities to ensure consistency and accountability.
