Job summary

Städar Cleaning is seeking an Evening Office Cleaner for our Nottingham office. You will help maintain a spotless, hygienic, and welcoming environment after hours for staff and visitors.

Hours: 6:30pm–8:30pm, Monday to Friday (2 hours daily), totaling 10 hours per week. Candidates should have cleaning experience, knowledge of products and safety procedures, and the ability to work independently in the evening.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment.
• Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
