Job summary

Storal is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper/Cleaner to join Children 1st Shepshed Nursery School in Shepshed, Leicestershire. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children and staff, following the nursery's cleaning schedule.

This part-time role offers 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5pm–8pm, at £12.71 per hour. You will work closely with the nursery team, manage cleaning materials and follow Health & Safety guidelines, safeguarding practices and COSHH

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness.
• Understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Understands safeguarding and site security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery.
• Follow the cleaning schedule to keep areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Manage cleaning materials and supplies per health and safety guidelines.
• Work with educators to report and address issues quickly and safely.
