Job summary

Cherwell District Council is seeking a Sports Facility Supervisor for casual, zero-hours shifts at Banbury and surrounding sites. The role involves evening and some weekend work, with set-up, equipment handling, cleaning duties, and providing customer service to facility users.

The successful candidate will hold a flexible, responsible approach, be able to communicate effectively on site, and be available for shifts between 4.45pm and 10.15pm on weekdays with weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with facility users is essential.
• Self-motivated, responsible and enthusiastic about a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down sports equipment and carry out cleaning duties as required.
• Act as a key holder for the facility and support during shifts.
• Respond to onsite issues and assist users during operating hours.
