Job summary

Oakland Care offers an evening care role for a Health Care Assistant to support residents with night-time routines at Osbern Manor, Wigmore, ME8 0SW. The role is 14 hours per week, permanent, evenings 7pm–11pm, at £13.20/hour.

You will assist residents with bedtime preparations, provide companionship and light refreshments, and participate in ongoing training while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude.
• Be a compassionate and caring person.
• Be a true team player.
• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker is advantageous but training is provided.
• Be reliable and able to work evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to residents during the evening.
• Supporting residents with getting ready for bed.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping with supper, drinks and light refreshments.
• Actively participating in training and up-skilling sessions.
• Working closely with team members and management.
