Job summary

Oakland Care Ltd is seeking a Health Care Assistant for twilight hours at Osbern Manor, Wigmore. The role runs 7pm–11pm, 14 hours per week, with a permanent contract and a pay of £13.20 per hour.

You will assist residents with evening routines, provide companionship, and support staff with meals and personal care in a warm, family-like environment. The position emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate and caring person.
• Be a true team player.
• Have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker – this is advantageous but not essential as full training is given.
• Be reliable and able to work evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to our residents during the evening.
• Supporting residents with getting ready for bed.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping with supper, drinks and light refreshments.
• Actively participating in various training and up-skilling sessions.
• Working closely with team members and management team.
