Job summary

Pektron Group Ltd in Derby (DE21 4AP) invites applications for a Production Operator / Electronic Assembler. You will join a highly organised production facility to build, test and finish high-quality electronics as part of a team or in a cell.

The role is full-time permanent (25 hours per week), with a shift 5pm–10pm, Monday to Friday. Starting pay £12.73 per hour, plus a weekly bonus after training and overtime at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and sharp eyesight for intricate work.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Willingness to follow written and verbal instructions and participate in improvements.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly using jigs, fixtures, hand tools and power tools.
• Hand soldering components and crimping wire contacts.
• Quality control through close visual inspections with microscopes.
• Machine operation monitoring robots and test equipment.
• Finishing processes including potting, sealing and packing.
