Job summary

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking an experienced Document Production Specialist to join the Document Production Centre in London. The role is 20 hours per week, with a 4pm–8pm shift, Monday to Friday, delivering high-quality document production services across the firm.

The candidate will produce, amend, and format legal documents, proofread for accuracy, create bundles, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting continuous improvement of the service.

Qualifications

• Experience producing and formatting complex legal documents.
• Proven typing speed of 60+ wpm and high accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent proofreading, attention to detail and organisational abilities.

• Create and amend electronic bundles and bibles.
• Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Work closely with fee earners to deliver a professional and efficient service.
• Support the continuous improvement of the Document Production Centre.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

• Previous document production experience.
• Typing speed of 60+ wpm.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Experience formatting complex legal documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
