Trowers & Hamlins in Birmingham is seeking an Evening Document Production Specialist to join the Document Production Centre. This 20-hour-per-week role runs 4pm–8pm, Monday to Friday, supporting fee earners with high-quality document production.

You will produce, amend and format legal documents, proofread for accuracy, and create electronic bundles. The role demands fast typing, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous document production experience.
• Typing speed of 60+ wpm.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Experience formatting complex legal documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce, amend and format complex legal documents, correspondence and reports.
• Proofread and quality-check work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Create and amend electronic bundles and bibles.
• Manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Work closely with fee earners to deliver a professional and efficient service.
• Support the continuous improvement of the Document Production Centre.
