Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor at Forth Primary School in Forth, ML11 8AE. Working 3pm–6pm, 15 hours per week during term time, you will supervise a team, ensure cleaning standards, and oversee COSHH compliance.

You may also be responsible for room setups, health and safety reporting, and acting as a key-holder when required. The role offers local government benefits and flexible working options.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc.
• Monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, reporting issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site responsible person for health and safety issues.
• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning) including training, recruitment & selection, attendance, and team briefs.
• Carry out cleaning functions and maintain building security as key-holder as required.
• Monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulations, reporting any issues to management.
