Job summary

Vertas is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead the school cleaning team at Willoughby Primary. The role involves supervising staff, organising daily tasks, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across classrooms and communal areas.

You will be responsible for coordinating cleaning activities, maintaining hygiene, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. The position is part-time (10 hours/week) with sessions Monday to Friday, 16:00–18:00, 41 weeks per year, based at Willoughby

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is essential.
• Prior supervisory experience is desirable.
• Good communication and a collaborative approach are important.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a cleaning team.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor standards.
• Clean toilets and washrooms.
• Wipe tables and surfaces.
• General cleaning of classrooms and communal areas.
• Hoover and mop floors.
