Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a dependable Cleaning Supervisor for Willoughby Primary School in Loughborough. The role oversees cleaning services on site, ensuring contract standards are met and staff are supported. DBS Enhanced clearance is required.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–6:00pm, on a 3‑month contract at Willoughby Primary School. The successful candidate will manage timesheets, health & safety records, and building security while promoting safe practices and a high

Qualifications

Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
Ability to supervise frontline cleaning staff effectively.
Strong organizational abilities and planning skills.
Good communication with staff, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Capable of working independently and managing responsibilities.
Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage cleaning services across the school premises.
Ensure cleaning standards meet contract specifications and SLAs.
Provide support and supervision to Building Cleaning Operatives on site.
Monitor quality and promptly address any issues.
Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery.
Maintain site security and building access controls.
Complete and maintain on-site admin records (timesheets, leave forms, H&S docs).
Promote safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Support welfare and development of cleaning staff.
