HG Recruitment Solutions in Taunton, Somerset, is seeking a Cleaning Site Supervisor to lead a small cleaning team and deliver hands-on cleaning duties. The role is part-time with a 5:00pm start, approximately 2–3 hours per shift, aligned to the school calendar.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised with supervisory ability and hold an Enhanced DBS. Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, maintaining standards, ensuring safety, monitoring supplies, and acting as day-to-day contact

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Reliable, organised and confident taking responsibility.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Able to prioritise and coordinate daily workloads.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily cleaning duties alongside the team.
• Coordinating and overseeing cleaning tasks.
• Ensuring required cleaning standards are consistently maintained.
• Supporting and providing direction to cleaning team members.
• Checking that allocated areas and tasks have been completed.
• Monitoring cleaning products and supplies.
• Ordering and replenishing stock when required.
• Using cleaning equipment and materials safely.
• Ensuring COSHH and Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Acting as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the cleaning operation.
