HG Recruitment is currently recruiting part-time School Cleaners in Taunton to support a Special Educational Needs School.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for regular evening work within a professional school environment.

Pay & Working Hours

• £14.00 per hour

Part-time evening position with a 5:00pm start, working approximately 2 3 hours per shift. The role operates in line with the school calendar, including standard summer, half-term and school holiday breaks.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment throughout the school. Duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping and general floor cleaning
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and managing waste
• Cleaning washrooms and toilet facilities
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely
• Following COSHH, Health & Safety and site procedures
• Completing allocated duties within scheduled hours

Requirements

As this role is based within a Special Educational Needs School, applicants will require an Enhanced DBS.

You should also be reliable, punctual and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.

Previous commercial or school cleaning experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Training & Support

Successful candidates will receive a site induction, COSHH training, relevant equipment and procedural training, and ongoing operational support.
