Job summary

Hull City Council is seeking a Cleaning Assistant - Grade 2 for 10 hours per week at Kenworthy House. The role runs Monday to Friday 5-7pm, pro rata, with a salary stated at £6,922. This is a part-time, permanent post within the Council's facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with safe systems of work within a work area.
• Comply with all Council Security Policies relating to the buildings within the work area.
• Adhere to Hull Building Cleanings’ procedures, work schedules and safe system of work. Report any problems to the Senior Cleaning Assistant or Area Supervisor.
• Participate in appropriate training and staff development.
• Complete relevant paperwork e.g. timesheets, annual leave forms.
• Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated legislation places responsibilities for health and safety on Hull City Council, as your employer and you as an employee of the council.
