Hull City Council is seeking a Cleaning Assistant (Grade 2) on a part-time basis. You will provide cleaning services to a pre-determined area in line with specifications and safe working practices to maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment.

Hours are Saturday 7:00–10:00am and Sunday 7:30–10:30am. The role offers a pro rata salary of £4,153 with eligibility for LGPS, annual leave and training opportunities within a supportive team.

Aufgaben

• Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with safe systems of work within a work area.
• Comply with all Council Security Policies relating to the buildings within the work area.
• Adhere to Hull Building Cleanings' procedures, work schedules and safe system of work. Report any problems to the Senior Cleaning Assistant or Area Supervisor.
• To participates in appropriate training and staff development.
• Completes relevant paperwork e.g. timesheets, annual leave forms.
• The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and associated legislation places responsibilities for health and safety on Hull City Council, as your employer and you as an employee of the council. In addition to the Councils overall duties, the post holder has personal responsibility for their own health and safety and that of other employees; additional and more specific responsibilities are identified in the Council's Corporate Health and Safety policy.
