Suffolk New College is seeking an Evening Cleaner to join the Estates and Facilities team. The role covers cleaning across all areas of the College, with shifts scheduled Monday 4pm-7pm, Tuesday to Thursday 6:30pm-9:30pm, and Friday 4pm-6pm.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow a daily checklist, and support the Facilities Manager as needed. Applicants should have a positive, flexible outlook and the ability to work independently while contributing to a high standard of customer service.

£24,522 per annum, pro-rata (based on working 14 hours a week, 52 weeks per year this equates to £9,278.59 per annum)

We are currently seeking to recruit an Evening Cleaner to join our Facilities team to undertake cleaning throughout all areas of the College.


The Hours Will Be


  • Monday 4pm - 7pm

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30pm - 9:30pm

  • Friday 4pm - 6pm


You will be required to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals on a daily basis to accurately complete a daily cleaning checklist, alongside any other cleaning as required by the Facilities Manager.


You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative whilst being a valued member of the Facilities team. You will have a positive and flexible approach with a commitment to high standards and providing an excellent customer service.


Please note that as Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site, you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
