Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a full time Cleaner Team Leader for the Didsbury area of Manchester. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5pm-9pm, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor and supporting the Cleaning Team to meet objectives.

The position involves on-site cleaning, equipment operation, and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Training is provided for iMop, Toucan, carpet cleaners and more, with benefits and DBS checks as applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Well-organised and prioritise own work.
• Flexible approach to team work.
• Previous experience as cleaner or similar role.
• Experience in using cleaning equipment.
• COSHH training (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the premises as directed by Cleaning Supervisor.
• Handle cleaning materials per COSHH data sheet.
• Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager to meet team aims/objectives.
• Report team issues to supervisor/manager.
• Assist with Cleaning Audits and stock control as required.
• Provide 1-to-1 training to cleaners per request.

Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a full time Cleaner Team Leader to join our team based in the Didsbury area of Manchester

Hours of work

• Monday – Friday, 5pm-9pm (20 hour a week contract)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor
• Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled and used in the correct way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet
• Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager to ensure Cleaning team are meeting their Aims/Objectives
• Report to Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager any Cleaning Team Issues
• Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Cleaning Audits when required
• Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with Stock Control
• Assist Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager with direction for Cleaning Team
• Assist with 1 to 1 training with Cleaners at Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager request

Training will be provided on the following:

• iMop
• Toucan system
• Carpet cleaner
• Chewing gum remover
• Various types of vacuum cleaner

Requirements
