Job summary

ABBEYGATE REST HOME is seeking an Evening Carer to join our compassionate team on a permanent, on-site basis in the UK. The role focuses on high-quality, person-centred care during the evening shift, including assistance with personal care, mobility and meals, with additional duties around bedtime routines.

You will maintain residents’ dignity and independence, complete care records and report changes to senior staff, working closely with the wider team to ensure residents feel safe, comfortable

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and mobility.
• Support continence care and meals/drinks in the evening.
• Respond to call bells and support residents with evening and bedtime routines.
• Maintain residents' dignity, independence and choice.
• Complete accurate care records and report changes to the senior staff.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents feel safe and well-supported.
