Homeinsteadcare is seeking a Care Assistant to support older adults with evening routines, reassurance, and safety at home. You will travel between remote sites to provide care and companionship, including personal care and medication support.

The role requires a Category B driving license, willingness to complete DBS checks, and the right to work in the UK. English proficiency and IT literacy are desirable additions.

Competenze

• Essential: Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement to travel between remote sites.
• Essential: Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS.
• Essential: You have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Desirable: Level 4 English and IT literate.

Mansioni

• Morning/evening personal care (washing, toileting, dressing for bed).
• Giving medication support and support with mobility.
• Preparing light meals, drinks and snacks.
• Offering companionship and conversation at the end of the day.
• Recording simple care notes after each visit.
• Taking clients out into the community for socialising or appointments.
