Homeinsteadcare is seeking a caring and reliable Care Assistant to support older adults with their evening routines at home. You will provide personal care, reassurance, companionship and record simple notes after each visit, helping clients feel safe and supported.

A valid Category B driving license is essential for travel between remote sites; you will need the right to work in the UK and possibly Enhanced DBS clearance. English level 4 and IT literacy are desirable.

As a Care Assistant, Support Worker, HCS or Home Carer you'll be supporting older adults with their evening routines, providing reassurance and helping them feel safe at home.

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

• A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
• You have the right to work in the UK (we do not offer any form of Sponsorship)

Desirable:

• Level 4 English and IT literate
• A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
• Resilient, reliable, proactive with a can-do attitude
