Job summary

Stepping Stones Services is hiring a Support Worker for evening shifts. You will help clients with daily living, personal care, medication support, and community activities. The role operates on a 2-week rolling rota with specific weekday evening hours.

The ideal candidate has a caring attitude, good communication, and flexibility to work outside home settings. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care is desirable, with training provided by Optimo Care Group.

Care setting experience desirable.
Knowledge of person-centred care principles.

Responsibilities

Support individuals to live independently including daily activities and personal care.
Administer medication following protocols and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, safe and accessible home.
Promote healthy relationships with family, friends and community.
Assist with day-to-day activities: shopping, appointments, social activities and hobbies.
Occasionally accompany individuals outside the home for activities or appointments.
Respect personal preferences and promote independence.
Report progress to the Service Manager and follow care plans.
