Job summary

Stepping Stones Services, part of Optimo Care Group, is seeking a dedicated support worker to join our team in the United Kingdom. The role involves daily living assistance, personal care, medication support, and community outreach to help clients maintain independence and wellbeing.

Shift pattern runs on a 2-week rolling rota with evenings: Week 1 20 hours (Mon/Wed/Fri 17:00-22:00) and Week 2 15 hours (Mon/Tue/Wed 17:00-22:00). Training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of person-centred care principles.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals to live independently and assist with daily activities.
• Administering medication following protocols and on time.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and accessible home.
• Promoting healthy relationships with family, friends and community.
• Supporting day-to-day activities including shopping and appointments.
• Occasionally accompanying individuals outside the home for activities.
