Arnold Clark Group in Aberdeen is hiring a skilled mechanic for our Aberdeen Service Centre. You’ll service and repair vehicles across makes and models, ensuring safety and high standards. We offer £40,000-£50,000 DOE plus benefits, overtime at time and a half, and performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and industry experience required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines with a proactive approach.
• Must hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engines and components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Replace faulty parts and perform DVSA testing if authorised.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and maintain tools.
• Follow checklists and complete documentation to standard.
