Job summary

London EV Company in London is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprentice position to train on the iconic London black cabs and a new energy vehicle model. This Level 3 apprenticeship runs for 3.5 years with a starting salary of £22,000 per year and staged increases after each year.

Delivered by Inspiro Learning, training blocks take place at Inspiro’s Derby centre, blending practical work with structured learning to achieve the Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 is required.
• Genuine interest in automotive technology.
• Willingness to learn and commit to the full 3.5-year programme.
• GCSE English and Maths at a Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
• Attend training blocks at Inspiro Learning’s Derby centre.
• Develop knowledge of engine, hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
• Work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
