Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 with automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work to high standards.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to follow written and spoken instructions.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road test vehicles after repairs to check quality.
• Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Follow checklists to ensure procedures are completed.
• Complete all documentation to the required standard.
