Job summary

Arnold Clark in Grangemouth is seeking a skilled Mechanic to prepare vehicles for the road, servicing and repairs to high standards. You’ll work on a wide range of manufacturers and models, building your EV knowledge as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engines and components to diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts as needed.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing where authorised.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Maintain tools and keep equipment in good condition.
• Follow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
• Complete all required documentation.
