Job summary

Leicestershire County Council’s Transport Projects & Programmes team is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes. You will oversee project governance, reporting, financial monitoring, and risk management to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost.

The role requires a degree or equivalent, experience in highway engineering, strong communications and stakeholder management, and a good understanding of Prince2.

Qualifications

• Degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent.
• Experience in highway engineering: design, management, maintenance or administrative processes.
• Experience maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management of Leicestershire County Council’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects, including governance and reporting.
• Oversee financial monitoring and risk management to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage timescales to deliver programmes across the service.
