Job summary

Leicestershire County Council invites applications for a Project Manager to lead the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes, ensuring governance, reporting, financial monitoring and risk management. The role includes site visits as required and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• A degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent qualification plus demonstrable experience.
• Experience in a Highway engineering setting, in relation to design, management, maintenance or administrative processes.
• Experience maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working to tight timescales to deliver projects/programmes on time, to quality and cost.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• A customer focused approach where the customer experience is central.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the project management of Leicestershire County Council’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes, including governance and reporting.
• Ensure financial monitoring and risk management to deliver schemes on time, to quality and cost.
• Undertake site visits as required.
