Job summary

Listers is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their New Volkswagen & SKODA dealership in Worcester. Role involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles with opportunities for EV/Hybrid work and ongoing training to become a VAG Qualified Service Technician or Master Technician.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday with some Saturday rota shifts; basic salary up to £45,000 with OTE up to £48,000 plus benefits. A strong path for career development and training is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but training will be provided.
• MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop to the highest standard first time.
• Electrical and mechanical repairs including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing.
• Repairs on EV/Hybrid vehicles using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motor and control systems.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Work closely with workshop team to learn and share knowledge.
