Job summary

EV Tech Recruit is recruiting an experienced IMI Level 4 EV-Qualified Vehicle Technician/Engineer for a specialist automotive engineering business in the South East England. The role is predominantly field-based, serving customers within a ~50-mile radius, with potential workshop work as the operation grows.

The position starts on a one-month temporary basis, paid by the company, with a view to permanent employment after successful probation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on EV diagnostic and battery-system knowledge.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostics experience.
• Comfortable working independently in field conditions.
• Willingness to travel across the South East England.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on fault finding and diagnostics.
• Diagnosing issues relating to electric vehicles and EV battery systems.
• Carrying out technical work in customer environments.
• Working independently while travelling between customer sites.
• Providing practical technical support across a range of vehicle applications.
