Job summary

Eastbourne Mercedes-Benz is seeking a driven General Manager to oversee resources across the dealership and achieve sales, profitability, customer satisfaction and loyalty targets. You will lead a motivated team to deliver world class service and coach managers to excellence.

The GM will drive performance, communicate strategic objectives, and ensure brand standards while managing a 44-hour week. Salary £70,000 basic, £100,000 OTE, with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience at General Manager/Head of Business level.
• Solid understanding of EV vehicles.
• Proven ability to lead and coach managers.
• Strong people management and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching with your teams.
• Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the Brand requirements.
• Provide clear leadership by ensuring the business vision and objectives are understood and communicated.
• Train and develop department managers in line with organisational requirements.
• Agree objectives and work standards with department managers and review performance regularly.
• Develop and monitor the business plan for all sales areas with senior managers to meet objectives, margins and market penetration.
