Job summary

Vital Power Group is seeking a skilled electrical engineer to join the Networks Team, delivering maintenance and support for a national EV charging network. The role covers fault finding, remote diagnostics, software updates, and on-site assistance where needed to ensure high reliability of chargers and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support EV team in delivering electrical engineering services across the UK including remote fault finding, diagnostic log analysis, software updates and configuration changes.
• Provide ongoing technical support for Operations and Field Service teams to ensure access to expertise both remotely and on-site.
• Record and analyse charging network faults in the ERP system and assist with monthly trend reporting and knowledge base development.
• Commission Kempower, Alpitronic & Autel DC charging systems per OEM and NICEIC standards; perform planned preventative maintenance of DC charging systems.
