Yunex Limited seeks an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Engineer to join our field team. You will commission, maintain and support fast, rapid, and ultra-rapid EV chargers, delivering high-quality results in a safety-conscious environment.

Based with a local depot in the Northwest, the role involves hands-on electrical work, occasional travel, and collaboration with contractors to deliver reliable EV charging solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with LV and MV electrical systems.
• Proactive problem-solver eager to learn and works well in a team.
• Experience with IT equipment.
• Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable outdoors.
• Full driving license; proximity to a depot.

Responsabilités

• Service, upgrade, and troubleshoot AC and DC EV chargers.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and report unsafe events and incidents.
• Conduct electrical testing and periodic inspections of charging equipment.
• Complete work safely, to a high standard, and on schedule.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and customers on-site and digitally.
• Manage and report vehicle stock levels.
• Analyze and process data to optimise contract performance.
• Handle emergency repairs and standby out-of-hours calls; may require overnight stays.
• Complete product training and achieve National Highways Sector Scheme accreditation and other trainings; overseas travel possible.
• Assist engineers working on traffic signals and related equipment when required.
