Job summary

Confidential is hiring a Scheduler for EV Chargepoints to coordinate field engineers across UK operations, ensuring installations, preventive maintenance and reactive works are completed on time. You will balance workloads, optimise routes and maintain up-to-date schedules.

The role demands strong organisation, clear engineer/customer communication, and the ability to adapt as plans change. Salary 28,000-30,000 per annum, full-time, UK location with benefits including pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, logistics, or workflow management.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent geographical awareness and route planning.
• Strong IT skills with Outlook, Excel and business systems.
• Ability to learn scheduling/field service software such as Joblogic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyse information using operational data.
• Calm, proactive and solution-focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule Installations, PPM, reactive and other field service works in line with frequencies and priorities.
• Allocate jobs to engineers based on location, skills, availability and priority.
• Optimize engineer diaries and travel routes to maximise productive hours.
• Balance workloads to use resources efficiently.
• Build and maintain daily, weekly and longer-term work plans.
• Ensure scheduled works meet SLAs and timescales.
• Coordinate subcontractors and external resources when required.
• Record completed works and maintain up-to-date schedules.
• Identify scheduling risks and escalate to management.
