Job summary

Connected Kerb Limited is seeking a field-based EV Electrician (Installation Manager) to scale deployment across the North of England. You will oversee contractors, install and maintain 3‑phase electrical systems, and provide on-site commissioning with remote system communication.

The role requires a professional approach, a full UK driving licence, and knowledge of EV charging equipment. This is a field-based position with flexible/hybrid hours, offering competitive pay and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with domestic and commercial 3 phase experience.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification and 18th Edition preferred.
• Full clean driving licence and a professional approach to work.
• Understanding of industry governance and compliance, EV charging experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Over seeing contractors on all aspects of the installation process.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing statutory requirements.
• On site commissioning and remote support for CK operating systems.
• Run tests on electrical components to ensure safe installation.
• Inspect systems for damage, malfunctions and safety hazards.
• Provide professional assessments and 2nd line customer support.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and reporting; contribute to R&D testing.
• Complete site surveys and assist in circuit design.

Education

NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification

18th Edition preferable
