Job summary

Arnold Clark in Grangemouth is seeking qualified automotive mechanics. You will service, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles including EV-focused work, with full DVSA testing where authorised. Training is provided to become an EV accredited Technician, with generous leave and progression opportunities.

You’ll join a supportive team at Hyundai Grangemouth, working flexible hours with overtime paid at time and a half, and a strong focus on salary reviews and benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnose issues using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road test vehicles after repairs.
• Maintain equipment and keep tools in good condition.
• Follow checklists to ensure procedures are completed.
• Complete all documentation to the required standard.
